Historical Witch Skull - Calvaria Malefica
Historical Witch Skull - Calvaria Malefica
For this piece, we were inspired by the enigmatic story of a 16th-century witch skull . According to legends, the woman was condemned and executed by the German Inquisition. Her head was used for medical studies and then sealed with wax. Nails were embedded in the eye sockets to lock away evil, and her hair was kept in a reliquary with a protective cross. This fascinating replica is ideal for museums, cabinets of curiosities, or esoteric collections. Perfect for decorating mystical or themed spaces, this skull is a tribute to ancient legends and occult practices.
The piece has been made from an accurate replica of a real skull. Every detail has been hand painted and sealed with wax, while the wrought iron nails have been oxidized for added realism. The synthetic hair has been meticulously worked to recreate the authentic effect. Both the weight and dimensions of the replica exactly match the original piece.
